This is trash results!
DateSunday, March 21, 2010 at 1:37PM

Wow, the turnout was really huge! We had over 80 riders this day, and more than 90% of them was on a mtb!!!!!!

We had no AM class because the AM's didn't want to ride a contest, but it went down really crazy at the PRO class!!!

The results:

DIRT:

1) Sam Reynold - UK - DMR Bikes - he was doing frontflips, 360 inverts and doubletailwhips without being able to pedal because of a broken hub

2) Blake Samson - UK - DMR Bikes - crazy flipwhips on the big dirt and more sickness

3) Roy Groenewegen - NL - Cove Bikes - for doing a trick I never saw before: no handed superman seatgrab, fully extended!!

PARK

1) Leo Combee - NL - Magura - for his crazy barspins

2) Walter Mayerhofer - AT - Dartmoor Bikes - sick barspins and tailwhips

3) Martin Knorr - NL - PlusSizeBMX - 360s/alleyoop tabletop/540

News form The Hague (Den Haag) and PLUSSIZEBMX

Trashy days
DateFriday, March 19, 2010 at 12:54PM

Only two more days left till This is Trash in The Hague in The Netherlands.

The guys from DMR UK arrived (Olly Wilkins, Blake Samson, Ray Samson and Sam Reynolds), and Walter Mayerhofer also arrived with a couple of friends.

Today we went riding with the whole group. The day started pretty bad, we woke up and it was raining outside. I tried to call several skateparks if we could go there this one time with a bicycle, but we only got one park available and that was only for the night. So I called Olly and we met those guys at the so called Middenberm dirts in The Hague. Since the Middenberm dirts are on a hill it's still rideable when it's wet; all the water drains away into the hill.

We got there and the new double was finished: a 4 meter/12 feet high double.

The guys at DMR were really stoked and started to hit the huge dirt. And from the 2nd time they hit it, crazy tricks went on!!

Sam Reynolds pulled a huuuuuge frontflip, and Blake Samsons 2nd jump on the big dirt was a dialled flipwhip!! Tricks started to get sicker and sicker: I've seen double tailwhips, 360 inverts, backflip no handers, 360 whips and a lot more sickness.

The guys from Austria were also riding really sick! Walter Mayerhofer was pulling truckdrivers over jumps and he 360d the most technical double of the trails, and was still able to hit the dirts behind.

Later that day the weather started getting bad again, and we decided to go home since we got a hard exhausting but also great and fantastic weekend to come!

I didn't bring my camera, so I can't show you pics. Tomorrow I'll bring my cam! We got some sick places where we're going tomorrow, I hope it won't rain!

Can't wait for the jam!!!

JAM!

yo!
i wanna go there!
Who is comming with me?!?
Martin sent me this on Facebook..sounds good to me.
"Are you coming too btw? We got PlusSizeBMX, DMR-bikes, and a dutch bikeshop sending us a lot of prices, and Monster will be there almost all day giving away free drinks, stickers and t-shirts! I'm getting the flyer posted everywhere on the internet now to reach as much riders from other countries as possible! I want to make this jam internationally known, so next year I can organise world biggest/best street contest!

I'm also planning of making a sick weekend with all the riders who come from abroad: riding the sick street spots of Rotterdam on saturday, party on saturdaynight, and rock the jam on sunday.

Could you please help me make the jam known by posting the flyer onto sbg-unit.blogspot.com. And let me know if you're coming!"
